I have a modded controller (I know most of you hate me for that) and someone said that they can track wired ones, but not wireless ones. Is this true?Can Microsoft track a modded controller for xbox 360?
I don't think MS can track a modded controller directly. I don't think it's a high priority for MS when it has bigger problems, such as modded 360.
It might be able to track that you're using a modded controller based on what you can do. If you have rapid fire, and in a game, you're shooting like crazy, then MS can say that you're cheating.

No, I highly doubt they can track any controller wired or wireless. If they could, then those mods would not be so popular. And everyone would know if they could track 'em because of there popularity .

Will the ps2 guitar hero controller work with the converter to ps3 on Guitar Hero 3?
In case this is sounds weird. I'm playing Guitar Hero 2 on my ps3 thanks to the ps2/ps3 converter. and i wanna know if this will work for the new Guitar Hero 3 : Legends of Rock. so i wont have to get another controller.Will the ps2 guitar hero controller work with the converter to ps3 on Guitar Hero 3?

and why not spend the extra $40 and get the wireless controller, and if the converter does work, you then have 2 controllers

How do I use the SliderBar on my Guitar Hero World Tour Controller?

You just have to touch the right color the same way you would if you were just playing regularly.
The only difference is you don't have to strum.
I personally don't like the slider bar, I just press the buttons on the top. You still don't have to strum so it works just the same. You have to hit it pretty much exactly on the note or else it doesn't really count it which is kind of lame.

When the purple line appears on a song, you can switch to the slide bar and it's set out like the buttons, green - orange. You just slide your finger to try and hit the notes on the purple line. I find it easier to just tap the buttons. And you don't have to strum.

ive been playing n 64 zelda on my nintendo wii with the gamecube controller, and im wondering if i should really waste my money on the ';classic controler'; for nintendo wii.Is the classic controller for wii really any better that a gamecube controller?
I prefer playing the N64 games with my gamecube controller. I haven't had any trouble playing those with my GC controller, so I don't really bother switching to my Classic.
But! For some games, like Super Mario World, the GC controller's button lay out is horrible. It makes it nearly impossible for you to play right. As in, the two buttons you need to be able to press quickly, are the farthest apart.
I know I'm not explaining it adequately, but it's just very, very difficult and annoying to play Super Mario World with the GC controllers lay out.
I'm sure it's the same for other classic games that use more than two buttons.
So, if you plan on sticking with only N64 games, don't bother getting a classic.
But if you plan on getting Super Nintendo games, I'd definitely recommend getting a classic controller.
Also, you can use a Classic Controller for Smash Bros. Brawl when it comes out. So, it's wireless, five dollars cheaper than the regular gamecube controller, and fifteen dollars cheaper than the wavebird.
Just in case you want to buy some more controllers.
