I don't think MS can track a modded controller directly. I don't think it's a high priority for MS when it has bigger problems, such as modded 360.
It might be able to track that you're using a modded controller based on what you can do. If you have rapid fire, and in a game, you're shooting like crazy, then MS can say that you're cheating.

You just have to touch the right color the same way you would if you were just playing regularly.
The only difference is you don't have to strum.

I prefer playing the N64 games with my gamecube controller. I haven't had any trouble playing those with my GC controller, so I don't really bother switching to my Classic.
But! For some games, like Super Mario World, the GC controller's button lay out is horrible. It makes it nearly impossible for you to play right. As in, the two buttons you need to be able to press quickly, are the farthest apart.
I know I'm not explaining it adequately, but it's just very, very difficult and annoying to play Super Mario World with the GC controllers lay out.
I'm sure it's the same for other classic games that use more than two buttons.
So, if you plan on sticking with only N64 games, don't bother getting a classic.

I too have a USB controller, and use it for other emulators, such as Project64, VisualBoyAdvance, and PCX2 (PS2 emulator). Unfortunately I don't have a Dolphin Emulator, but what I would suggest would be to look at the window, and go to options, tools, or any other technical settings name.
-If you can find in one of these: Configure controls, or Change Controls, (or any other similar variations) click on it.
-There should be some kind of toolbar at the top or bottom that shows what controller plug-in you are using.
-If you are using the mouse and keys, (the default, as you know) then it will list that.
-Click on that icon, and there will be a list of available control options, one of which will be your USB controller. The name of which will probably be something like this: LOGItech Human User Interface Device.
-From there, click on your USB controller, and assign the functions of the Wii's/Gamecube's buttons to the buttons on your controller. (Click on them and press the buttons on the controller you want to activate those button functions)

I too have a USB controller, and use it for other emulators, such as Project64, VisualBoyAdvance, and PCX2 (PS2 emulator). Unfortunately I don't have a Dolphin Emulator, but what I would suggest would be to look at the window, and go to options, tools, or any other technical settings name.
-If you can find in one of these: Configure controls, or Change Controls, (or any other similar variations) click on it.
-There should be some kind of toolbar at the top or bottom that shows what controller plug-in you are using.
-If you are using the mouse and keys, (the default, as you know) then it will list that.
-Click on that icon, and there will be a list of available control options, one of which will be your USB controller. The name of which will probably be something like this: LOGItech Human User Interface Device.
-From there, click on your USB controller, and assign the functions of the Wii's/Gamecube's buttons to the buttons on your controller. (Click on them and press the buttons on the controller you want to activate those button functions)

Unfortunately, Wii Remote and Nunchuck is the only control scheme (you can always check the back of the case to make sure). However, there is a version of Double Agent on GameCube that uses the GC Controller (you'd also need a GC Memory card to save the game) if you get desperate.

Yes, I own a simple USB controller which I use for my ZSNES, it works perfectly, if you go into the controller configurations, you should be able to click the joypad option and switch it from the keyboard. You can configure the buttons yourself. I have a controller that mimics a PS2 controller and I configured the buttons as close to the SNES controller as possible.
Once the controller has been recognised by the computer, the controller instructions should tell you whether it's (P%26amp;P) Plug and Play. Since mine, and most USB hardware is nowadays, all you really have to do is switch to the joypad option in the Emulator.

First you need to turn it on and press the little button right beside the Memory Unit B, then press the little button on top of your friend's controller, and it should work after that.
Are you pressing the sync button on your 360 as well? You'd sync it up as you would a normal controller, so press the sync button on both the 360 and the guitar.

Are you pressing the sync button on your 360 as well? You'd sync it up as you would a normal controller, so press the sync button on both the 360 and the guitar.

I too have a USB controller, and use it for other emulators, such as Project64, VisualBoyAdvance, and PCX2 (PS2 emulator). Unfortunately I don't have a Dolphin Emulator, but what I would suggest would be to look at the window, and go to options, tools, or any other technical settings name.
-If you can find in one of these: Configure controls, or Change Controls, (or any other similar variations) click on it.
-There should be some kind of toolbar at the top or bottom that shows what controller plug-in you are using.
-If you are using the mouse and keys, (the default, as you know) then it will list that.
-Click on that icon, and there will be a list of available control options, one of which will be your USB controller. The name of which will probably be something like this: LOGItech Human User Interface Device.

USB Keyboard and mouse, if the game supports it (there were PS2 shooters that did). Otherwise, there's really no way to do it well, as Mice and analog sticks work on completely different premises.

i have started playing games using the controller ..however all i've been able to configure is the D-pad and the main buttons such as A, B, X, Y etc... My PS3 controllers were working fine, then all of a sudden today I can't play PS3 at all unless the controllers are plugged into the PS3 with USB. If I try to unplug, they don't sync with the PS3 and all 4 lights on the back of the controllers blinks very quickly.

What software is needed to make music on my computer with an M-Audio Keystation 49e midi controller keyboard?
I have the wires and plugs for an M-Audio 49e Keystation, but I got it secondhand without any of the software that I'm guessing came with it. I can download all the drivers from the M-Audio website, but because it is only a midi CONTROLLER, I know I must need a separate piece of software to make it play the notes it sends. Anyone know what programs will do it? Doesn't need to be freeware. I already own Audacity and Adobe Audition.

Join the military and do it and apply when you get out, get the degree and you'll be in the system or find the website to start applying. The military and college (CTI program) routes are pretty much guarentees at this point provided you meet all the requirements. They tend to get picked up before the public hires. As a public hire you will probably need a good entrance score on the at sat. You'll also need 3 years full time work experience or 3 years full time college or a combo of both.
I'm confused about the once trained its easy to get in part. Like I said ex military and CTI, its pretty much a lock, but passing the academy and not getting fired for poor performance at your facility isn't an easy deal. I'd personally suggest either going military or if you have the money going for the degree while applying to public postings.
Word of advice, do your own research and don't go in blind. Don't start out at the busiest places and know what to expect.

How do you turn off the Ps3 system, without a Controller?
My controller no longer works. When I start my ps3 and play a Movie, there is no way to either play the movie or shut the ps3 down is there? How do I fix my Rain Bird sprinkler controller?
The display reads PR OFF (power off) and I looked up the directions and its either the fuse or power was disrupted. The fuse looks good, no black and the reading was .06. The manual says to determine why power was disrupted, but what can cause this. I mean how do I determine why power was disrupted.
