Is there a standard controller available for the Nintendo Wii?

We bought a Wii back in the Spring and the novelty has now worn off. Unable to afford another system, I'm looking for something to make it more like a basic console. Is there a normal controller that I can purchase for the system?Is there a standard controller available for the Nintendo Wii?
Yes - the CLASSIC CONTROLLER. Various games like Super Paper Mario or Wario Land: The Shake dimension (both exceptionally outstanding platformers might I add - pure Nintendo too!) use this basic controller as a way of playing.Is there a standard controller available for the Nintendo Wii?
If a game is made to use motion controls, there's no way that you could use a ';normal controller'; for them...unless the game has an option to use various control schemes, like Super Smash Bros Brawl. If you don't like the motion controls, look for games that don't use them.
there is a classic controller, but is mainly used for virtual console games, but it can be used for some regular games. the ones that can use it will have the classic controller icon in the remote requirements
Wiis are still pretty scarce. Consider selling it on eBay at a profit and getting a used Xbox or PS3 at a discount.
