I've lost the USB Cable that you use to charge a PS3 controller and need to buy a new one- the problem is I don't know what it's actually called. I'm aware that digital camera cables can also be used but does anyone know the actual name for a USB cable that has different sizes on each end?What is the official name for the PS3 Charger Controller?

it's a mini usb cable, digital cameras use them, my media player uses them to load stuff on and for charging, a ton of other devices use them too, they're not hard to find. go to your local target, walmart, radioshack, etc and look for a mini usb cable, there's probably ones made by sony for the controllers in the ps3 aisles, i think they call them usb charging cables... just look around in an electronics store, when in doubt, ask... they're really really common.
As long as the USB cable has the correct end to fit in the controller, it will work fine. Doesn't need to be official or anything. A friend of mine got one outta a computer store for like 拢5 lol it's 3 meters I think :D
