How can i take apart my guitar hero controller?

i want to take apart my guitar hero controller, but the screws are weird, everyone says philips but they are hexagonal type, can i still use a phillips? is there another head type i can use?How can i take apart my guitar hero controller?
go to Home depot, or some place like that and buy the right tool.
