How many years of experience as a military Air Traffic controller do you need to get into the FAA?

I am a four year enlistee in the Air Force. I have three years of experience as an air traffic controller. I am up for reenlistment in a few months. I want to know if the FAA will hire someone with only 3 years of experience? What are the chances of getting hired as an ex air force controller? And I am only CTO rated(the manning has been low so I couldnt obtain a dual rating)? If you are in the FAA please respond...I need inside guidance. Thank you for looking,How many years of experience as a military Air Traffic controller do you need to get into the FAA?

You need at least 3 years dealing with heavy aircraft.

The chance of you getting hired with military experience are very good because they tend to take veterans and active military first.
